After years of practicing medicine for other companies, I wanted to build a team that all share the same passion for helping care for not only our patients but also our clients. I am grateful to have finally achieved that with Hart Animal Clinic. I am honored by the trust placed in me, not only by my patients but also by the people who love them. I grew up in the small town of Colonial Heights. Growing up, I loved the sciences and had an interest in medicine. Hence, I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and further went on to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, located on the tropical island of St. Kitts, completing my clinical year at Purdue University.
I am still always learning and improving my abilities to help and care for animals. I currently hold certificates in Fear Free Practices, NAVC Pet Nutrition Coach, NAVC The Human-Animal Bond, AAHA Animal Hospice & Palliative Care, and PENN Hip. I also have an accreditation status with USDA and am able to provide health certificates for your pet’s travel needs.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and our pets, Radar Love (Shih Tzu), Maggie (Ecletus parrot), and Poe (Lionhead rabbit). My hobbies are scuba diving, gardening, mushroom foraging, hiking and eating.
